Polyurethane Resin

J-CREAT SL

Description of product J-CREAT SL, Polyurethane base resin mortar, provides a smooth protective floor finish suitable for heavy traffic and chemical plant. J-CREAT SL is ideally designed to have exceptional resistance to a wide range of chemical aggressors and high impact resistance by heavy weights. Each systems are typically installed at 4 to 9 mm thickness. J-CREAT SL can be used as non-slip application with silica sands if needed. (Ucemcrete BC )

Applications

  • ood processing plants, wet & dry process areas, freezers & coolers, dairies, breweries, wineries, distilleries, laboratories.
  • chemical process plants, pulp and paper. plants, warehouses and storage areas.
  • HACCP,GMP.

Advantages

  • High abrasion qualities result from its pure silica aggregate structure.
  • Similar coefficient of thermal expansion to concrete.
  • Bond strength in excess of the tensile strength of concrete, concrete will fail first.
  • Non-taint, odorless.
  • Behaves plastically under impact / deforms but will not crack or deboned.
  • Easily maintained.
  • Resists a very wide range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, amines, salts and solvents.

How to Use

Surface Preparation
Concrete surfaces must be clean and sound. Remove all dust, dirt, existing paint films, efflorescence, exudates, laitance, form oils, hydraulic or fuel oils, brake fluid, grease, fungus, mildew, biological residues or any other contaminants which may prohibit good bond.
The compressive strength of the concrete substrate should be at least 25 MPa at 28 days and a minimum of 1.5 MPa.
Repairs to cementitious substrates, filling of blow holes, leveling of irregularities, etc.

▶ Edge Terminations
- All free edges of a Ucemcrete, whether at the perimeter, along gutters or at drains require extra anchorage to distribute mechanical and thermal stresses.
This is best achieved by forming or cutting grooves in the concrete. Grooves should have a depth and width of 2 times thickness of the Ucemcrete mortar.
Refer to the edge details provided. If necessary, protect all free edges with mechanically attached metal strips.
Never featheredge, always turn into an anchor groove.

▶ Expansion Joints
- Should be provided in the substrates at the intersection of dissimilar materials.
Isolate areas subject to thermal stresses, vibration movements or around load-bearing columns and at vessel sealing rings.
Refer to details.

Mixing
Mixing will be affected by temperature.
Condition materials for use from 15ºC to 21ºC.
Mix Part 1 & pigment first with 30 sec and mix Part 2 and stir ap
prox 30 seconds.
And add Part 3 slowly which it takes 15 seconds (DON’T DUMP!)
Further 2 minutes mix until the mixture is homogeneous and the pigment is uniformly dispersed.

Application
▶J-CREAT SL :
Scratch Coating
Mixed and apply the scratch coat of 1.5~3kg/m2.

▶Body Coating
Mixed and pour J-CREAT SL on the floor.
Spread to the desired thickness using a notched squeegee, trowel or screed bar.
Immediately spike roll the surface to release trapped air in the matrix.

▶J-CREAT SL : Non slip system :
Scratch Coating ( Optional )
Mixed and apply the scratch coat of 1.5~3kg/m2.

▶Body Coating
Mixed and pour J-CREAT SL on the floor.
Spread to the desired thickness using a notched squeegee, trowel or screed bar.
Immediately spike roll the surface to release trapped air in the matrix.

J-CREAT SL Non slip system needed to apply silica sands before curing to carry anti slip characteristics.

▶Top Coating
Apply top coating using Ucemcrete BC Top
